New U.S. Warships’ design named “Trump Class” unveiled

KABUL: In the ongoing global arms race, U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a new initiative for the construction of a new generation of warships known as the “Trump Class.”

Reuters reported on Monday, the unveiling took place in the presence of Cabinet members and the Secretaries of Defense and State.

The U.S. President stated that the new class of warships will be “larger, faster, and 100 times more powerful” than any previous model in the U.S. military’s fleet.

The White House leader emphasized that the aim of creating this new fleet is to strengthen the superiority of the U.S. Navy.

According to released information, the fleet is set to expand to 20 to 25 new ships, starting with the construction of two vessels referred to as the “golden fleet.”

The first ship of this class, for which the design has been unveiled, will be named “USS Defiant.”

John Flynn, the U.S. Secretary of the Navy, mentioned that components for these ships will be produced in all states across the country.

Additionally, the new generation of U.S. warships will be equipped not only with artillery capabilities but also with nuclear warheads.

It is noteworthy that the U.S. currently possesses the largest and most powerful naval fleet in the world.
