KABUL: Reports indicate that the United States has completed its military readiness for potential action against Iran, though a final decision on a direct strike has not yet been made.
In the meantime, General Eric Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command, has traveled to Tel Aviv and met with Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi.
During the meeting, General Cooper stated that President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision regarding a direct military strike against Iran, but emphasized that the U.S. has prepared all necessary military equipment and readiness for any potential operations.
The remarks come amid a tense security situation in the Middle East, where tensions between the U.S. and Iran continue to escalate in various areas.
