KABUL: The UN Security Council’s sanctions monitoring committee has identified the Pakistan-based group Jaish-e-Mohammed as responsible for the explosion at the Red Fort in India three months ago, which resulted in the deaths of 15 people, media reported.
The Indian news website The Federal reported early Saturday that Jaish-e-Mohammed is mentioned in the 37th report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team, which addressed the sanctions committee concerning groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda, alleging their involvement in the Red Fort attack.
The deadly explosion occurred in November 2025 at the Red Fort in Delhi, killing 15 people and injuring others.
This incident has once again severely strained relations between Islamabad and New Delhi.
