KABUL: The 15th cabinet meeting, chaired by Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, was held at the Arg in Kabul, with discussions focusing on the proposed Kabul Administrative Complex and challenges faced by healthcare workers across the country.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, said in a statement on Tuesday that a committee led by the head of the Administrative Affairs Office was tasked with conducting assessments on the construction of the Kabul administrative complex in the Tangi Tarakhil area of Deh Sabz district.
The committee is expected to submit its findings, including budget requirements, to the cabinet for a final decision.
Separately, another committee headed by Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy prime minister, was instructed to hold consultations to identify problems facing medical staff and propose solutions, with a report to be presented to the cabinet.
The cabinet also approved a report from the Ministry of Finance covering the conclusion of the third quarter of the 1404 fiscal year. The report included details on central and provincial non-tax revenues, income-generating opportunities, and expenditures related to revenue-producing development projects.
In addition, ministers discussed the challenges faced by returning migrants and measures to support them, issuing specific directives to relevant departments to improve assistance and facilitate their reintegration.
Cabinet meetings are held regularly to deliberate and decide on major national issues, according to the statement.
