Third trilateral meeting among U.S., Russia, and Ukraine delegations held in Switzerland

SWITZERLAND: The third trilateral meeting between delegations from the United States, Russia, and Ukraine was held in Switzerland to discuss a potential resolution to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Steve Witkoff, the U.S. president’s special envoy, confirmed the meeting on Wednesday but did not provide further details.

He said the Russian and Ukrainian delegations agreed to brief their leaders on progress made during the talks. Witkoff added that Trump played a key role in bringing the parties together and achieving notable progress.

Describing the conflict in Ukraine as “horrific,” Witkoff said he was proud to be working toward ending the war under Trump’s leadership.

Although the prospects for a resolution remain uncertain, the war between Russia and Ukraine is set to enter its fifth year in less than a week.
