KABUL: Iranian state-run media reported that 160 marines “American terrorists,” were targeted in a missile and drone attack carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to Tasnim News Agency, the attack took place early Tuesday, where, of 160 United States Marine Corps at least 40 personnel were killed and 70 others were wounded.
Tasnim did not provide further details about where the attack occurred or whether U.S. forces were targeted at sea or inside another country.
Heavy and destructive fighting between Iran and the United States and Israel is reportedly ongoing.
