Trump: End of war with Iran will be decided jointly with Israel

KABUL: Donald Trump, President of the United States, says the decision on ending the ongoing war with Iran will be made jointly with Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel.
He made the remarks Sunday night during a phone interview with The Times of Israel, where he declined to give a clear answer about whether Israel would continue its attacks after the United States ends its strikes on Iran, he suggested that such a move may not be necessary.
“I think it’s a joint decision. We’ve been talking a little bit,” Trump said. “I will decide at the appropriate time, but everything will be taken into consideration.”
It remains unclear how long the U.S.–Israeli attacks against Iran will continue, though the conflict has already lasted about 10 days.
During this period, the United States and Israel have carried out some of the heaviest air and missile strikes on Iran’s military, energy, and civilian infrastructure on land and at sea. Meanwhile, Tehran has targeted Israeli territory and U.S. positions in the region with missiles and drones.
