KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the Iranian people are prepared to launch large-scale protests against their government, but are unable to organize effectively due to a lack of weapons.
Trump also said the United States had expected Kurdish groups to help supply arms for anti-government movements, but according to him, those commitments were never fulfilled.
The U.S. president had previously stated that the ceasefire situation with Iran had become extremely fragile, with the chances of it holding reduced to “just one percent.”
