Indian Prime Minister to visit UAE and four European countries amid Middle East tensions

KABUL: International media outlets have reported that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy.

According to the reports, the trip will begin in the UAE before continuing to several European countries, with the stated aim of strengthening India’s position in the region following recent developments and tensions in the Middle East.

The six-day visit comes after India and the European Union signed a free trade agreement in January, a deal that Narendra Modi described as “unprecedented.”
