KABUL: At least 12 people were injured in the latest drone attacks targeting the capital city of Moscow, Russian state media reported.
State news agency TASS reported on Saturday, citing Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, that Russian air defense systems intercepted 120 drones launched toward the city over the past 24 hours.
Sobyanin said preliminary reports indicated that 12 people were wounded in the attacks, including construction workers near the entrance of the Moscow oil refinery.
He added that operations at the facility were not disrupted by the drone strikes.
The Moscow mayor also said that three residential buildings in the city sustained damage during the attacks.
TASS did not specify who was responsible for the drone assault.
Russia and Ukraine have continued to exchange missile and drone attacks as fighting between the two sides persists.
