KABUL: Donald Trump, President of the United States has said that the conflict with Iran is “not a major issue” for the United States and claimed that the situation is developing better than expected.
According to a report by The New York Times, Trump stated that the ongoing war with Iran has progressed more favorably than anticipated and that he is satisfied with its course.
Reports indicate that approximately 1,700 Iranian civilians and at least 13 American military personnel have been killed during the conflict. The war has also reportedly reduced U.S. military stockpiles and increased economic pressures on working-class Americans.
Despite these costs, Trump described the conflict as a “temporary diversion” and said he is proud of the actions taken by his administration during the war.
