U.S. House of Representatives passes resolution seeking to prevent war with Iran

KABUL: The United States House of Representatives, led by Republicans, approved a resolution on Wednesday aimed at preventing further military conflict with Iran.
According to a report by Fox News, the resolution is intended to restrict the continuation of military action against Iran by Donald Trump.
The measure reportedly passed by a vote of 215 in favor and 208 against. Four Republican lawmakers joined Democrats in supporting the resolution.
Fox News reported that the vote reflects growing concern among some Republican members regarding U.S. involvement in a conflict with Iran.
Under the resolution, President Trump would be urged to withdraw U.S. forces from Iran unless the United States Congress formally declares war or authorizes the use of military force through legislative action.
