Tight security measures planned in New York for Trump

KABUL: Extensive security arrangements are being put in place across New York City ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump’s expected attendance at Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday at Madison Square Garden.
According to Reuters, several streets surrounding the arena will be closed, restrictions have been imposed on bringing boxes and large items into the area, and security personnel will implement special measures throughout the game.
Trump has frequently attended major sporting events during his second presidential term. Last year, he became the first sitting U.S. president to attend the Super Bowl in person.
Since then, he has also appeared at several high-profile sporting events, including the Ryder Cup and the final match of the FIFA Club World Cup.
