KABUL: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that new diplomatic efforts are underway to help bring an end to the war in Ukraine.
Zelenskyy stated that he held “positive” talks with U.S. representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, praising their cooperation and willingness to support efforts for ending the conflict.
According to Zelenskyy, the two American representatives pledged to intensify efforts in the coming weeks to advance the peace process and pursue a political resolution to the war.
The Ukrainian president made the remarks as international diplomatic initiatives aimed at securing a ceasefire and ending the conflict have gained momentum.
He emphasized that global efforts must continue to achieve a resolution to the war and establish lasting peace in Europe.
