Iran urges Washington to fulfill commitments under the ceasefire agreement

KABUL: Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi has said that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is obligated under the recently reached agreement to take the necessary steps to halt hostilities on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon.

Araghchi stressed that ending the fighting and fully implementing the terms of the agreement must be guaranteed to prevent any further escalation of regional tensions.

His remarks come as concerns persist over the security situation in the Middle East and the potential for renewed conflict despite the reported agreement.
