KABUL: Serik Zhumangarin, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy, has arrived in Kabul leading a high-level political, economic, and government delegation.
According to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the visit aims to hold the Afghan-Kazakh Trade and Economic Forum and a Kazakhstan Products Exhibition in Kabul.
The ministry said the forum and exhibition are expected to create new opportunities for business partnerships, expand bilateral trade, promote the exchange of expertise, and attract private-sector investment between the two countries.
Officials added that the visit could play an important role in strengthening friendly and economic ties between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, while enhancing regional cooperation.
The visit comes as economic and trade relations between the two countries continue to grow, with both sides seeking closer cooperation in trade, transit, investment, agriculture, the food industry, and the supply of raw materials.
