KABUL: Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday at the head of a high-level delegation, media reported.
According to the reports, Pezeshkian is scheduled to meet with senior Pakistani officials to discuss a range of issues, including the expansion of bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and regional developments.
The visit comes amid reports that Iran and the United States have moved closer to a peace agreement in recent weeks through mediation efforts by Pakistan, which has sought to play an active role in reducing tensions between the two sides.
