KABUL: The Ambassador of Qatar to Afghanistan, Mirdif Al-Qashouti, met with Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for the Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, here in Kabul.
According to a statement issued by the Qatari Embassy, the two sides discussed expanding bilateral cooperation between Afghanistan and Qatar, strengthening diplomatic relations, and exploring ways to further develop ties between the two countries.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and reinforcing the growing partnership between Kabul and Doha.
In recent years, Qatar has played an active role in political and humanitarian efforts related to Afghanistan, and relations between the two countries have continued to expand.
Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue and strengthening cooperation to advance shared interests and support regional stability.
