KABUL: At least 21 people have been killed after a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall and flash floods struck China’s Gansu Province.
According to China’s state-run Xinhua news agency, the rescue operation concluded in the area.
The incident occurred early Tuesday in a valley in Nanchang County in western China, trapping 33 people beneath debris.
The report said that most of the victims were residents of nearby villages who had been working as temporary laborers at a state-owned forestry farm.
