KABUL: Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Saif Al Ketbi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Afghanistan, to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
According to a statement issued by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides held comprehensive discussions on Afghanistan–UAE relations, ways to expand bilateral cooperation, and a number of regional issues.
Minister Muttaqi welcomed the growing ties between Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates and expressed hope that the two countries would further strengthen their cooperation across various sectors through joint efforts.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Al Ketbi described the current level of cooperation between the two countries as satisfactory and reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to expanding close, sustainable cooperation with Afghanistan across various fields.
