Qalibaf warns U.S.: Policy of force and threats will no longer go unanswered

KABUL: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has warned the United States that the policy of force and intimidation will no longer go unanswered, saying any hostile action would be met with a response.

Qalibaf also stressed that the security and continued openness of the Strait of Hormuz can only be ensured under arrangements made by Iran, not through U.S. threats.

The status and security of the Strait of Hormuz have long remained a key point of pressure between Iran and the United States during periods of heightened tensions and military confrontation.
