KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has expressed its condolences over deadly floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall in Bangladesh’s capital and southeastern regions.
In a statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi said the ministry extends its sympathy and condolences to the government and people of Bangladesh, particularly to the families of those who lost their lives.
The statement also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the disaster.
