KABUL: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it targeted the U.S. military’s Al Juffair base in Bahrain during the second wave of Operation Nasr 2.
According to Iran’s ISNA news agency, citing the IRGC, the attack targeted weapons support depots, a satellite communications center, and areas where U.S. forces are stationed, using missiles and drones.
The IRGC said the operation was carried out in response to what it described as “enemy aggression.”
U.S. and Bahraini authorities have not commented on the claim, and no independent reports have confirmed the extent of any damage or possible casualties.
