KABUL: Baloch separatist militants have claimed responsibility for attacks on Pakistan’s Frontier Corps (FC) in the Kachhi, Dhadar, and Sibi areas of Balochistan.
According to statements released by the group, at least 10 Frontier Corps personnel were killed and several others were wounded in two separate attacks.
Reports indicate that the first attack targeted a security convoy traveling from Sibi to Sanni, while the second struck a reinforcement convoy that had been dispatched to assist the troops targeted in the initial assault.
The attacks come amid a recent surge in violence against Pakistani security forces in Balochistan and it seems that the Pakistani government’s loss of security control over the region.
