KABUL: Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi has called on Iran’s neighboring countries to pursue “true brotherhood” in the region.
Fars News Agency reported Friday night that Araghchi urged Iran’s neighbors to rely on their own capabilities.
According to the report, Araghchi claimed that Iran’s armed forces had demonstrated their capabilities against what he described as “the most advanced military force in the world.”
The Iranian foreign minister did not name any specific country, but his remarks appear to be directed at the Arab states along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf.
The comments come as Arab Gulf states were targeted by Iranian missile and drone attacks during the recent Iran-U.S. conflict.
