UN: At least 300 children have died in Gaza since the ceasefire began

KABUL: The United Nations Office in Geneva has said that at least 300 children have died in Gaza during the 300 days since the ceasefire began.

Louise Wateridge, an official with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), said that although the world describes the current situation in Gaza as a “ceasefire,” residents of the territory continue to visit cemeteries to bury their children who have been martyred.

The United Nations stressed that despite the declaration of a ceasefire, the deaths of children in Gaza continue.
