KABUL: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with the commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on Thursday evening.
According to Saudi Arabia’s official news agency, SPA, the meeting focused on several issues related to defense cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
The two sides also discussed recent developments in the region, efforts to reduce tensions, and ways to strengthen security and stability.
The meeting comes as Saudi Arabia has also signed a joint defense agreement with Pakistan and Türkiye, known as the Mecca Agreement.
