KABUL: At least 30 people have been killed and 22 others injured after a landslide at a waste disposal site in Conakry, the capital of Guinea.
Reuters reports that the incident occurred following heavy rainfall, causing a large mass of waste to collapse and bury several nearby residential homes.
A woman was also reported to have lost all five of her children in the disaster.
Rescue and recovery efforts are underway, while authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage.
