KABUL: Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi has met with Mohammed Nasser Mohammed Al-Sayer, CEO and investor of Kuwait’s Al-Sayer Trading Company, to discuss trade and investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting covered Afghanistan’s current situation, security and stability, as well as opportunities in trade and investment.
Muttaqi described relations between Afghanistan and Kuwait as historical and positive, emphasizing the need to expand bilateral relations across various sectors.
Meanwhile, Al-Sayer expressed satisfaction with his visit to Afghanistan and said his company plans to begin expanding trade relations with the country.
He added that Al-Sayer Company intends to export fresh and dried Afghan fruits to Kuwait and other international markets.
The two sides also emphasized expanding economic and trade relations, strengthening joint cooperation, facilitating travel and movement, and making effective use of investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
