KABUL: Crude oil prices fell in international markets following reports that U.S. President Donald Trump may meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Trump told U.S. media that he may meet Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Reports say Trump is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly today, Tuesday, while Pezeshkian is expected to deliver his speech tomorrow.
The UN General Assembly convenes each September for nearly a month to discuss major global challenges and issues facing the international community.
