KABUL: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in managing crises and preventing further escalation of tensions.
In a post on X on Saturday morning, October 10, Pezeshkian said regional diplomacy should not be limited to holding meetings but should serve as a practical tool for crisis management, maintaining dialogue and expanding cooperation.
He added that regional diplomacy should help prevent rising tensions and promote practical cooperation among countries in the region.
The remarks come as diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States to end the conflict have so far failed to produce a lasting agreement.
