KABUL: U.S. airstrikes on Houthi positions in Yemen are ongoing, Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, that various locations across Yemen have been targeted.
According to the report, the recent attacks included five strikes on weapons and ammunition storage facilities of the Houthis in the Nuqm Mountains, located east of the capital, Sana’a, as well as the Ghatan area in the capital.
The casualties and damage are still unknown.
This is while at least 80 people were killed and dozens more were injured in the largest U.S. attack late last week on one of the Houthi forces’ important fuel ports.
