KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, met today with officials from the Afghan Invest private company, his office said in a statement.
According to the statement, the official of the company said that the 500 KV Sheberghan-Dasht-e-Alwan electricity transmission project is progressing well, with 85% of the work completed and expected to be finished on the exact time.
Officials also reported that the company has completed the survey of lead and zinc mines in the Tolak district of Ghor and has now begun foundational reconstruction, employing over 200 locals.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the company’s progress and assured that all shared issues would be addressed.
