KABUL: A regular meeting of the National Food and Drug Board was held with Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanefi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, on the chair, Arg said in a statement.
According to the statement, the meeting focused on controlling the quality of medicines and food items, preventing illegal and substandard imports and productions, and standardizing domestic production facilities.
At the end of the meeting, relevant agencies were instructed to ensure ongoing monitoring of medicines and food products in both the capital and provinces.
The Islamic Emirate has once again urged traders to import high-quality goods into the country.
