Inter-Ministerial Committee approves construction of commercial market in Sar-e-Pul

KABUL: The meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held at the Marmarin Palace to approve construction of a commercial market worth 52 million Afghanis in Sar-e-Pul province.
According to a statement from the office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs on Tuesday, the commercial market will be constructed on municipal land in the province.
In the meeting, the extension of electricity to the Qarqeen and Kham Ab districts of Jawzjan province has also been discussed.
The commercial market with the 52 million Afghanis of investment of the private sector will have a total of 62 shops, said the statement adding that the proposal has been referred to the office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs for final approval.
Regarding the proposal for extending electricity to the Qarqeen and Kham Ab districts of Jawzjan province, a designated committee has been assigned to evaluate all aspects of the project and share its report with the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee, the statement added.
