Head of NEPA in Russia to attend Nevsky 11th International Environmental Congress

KABUL: Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, the Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA), traveled to Russia to attend the Nevsky 11th International Environmental Congress, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.
The event is scheduled to be held in Saint Petersburg on May 22–23 and will host representatives from up to 40 countries focusing on global environmental challenges, including climate change, environmental protection, sustainable development, and fostering international environmental cooperation.
This is while Afghanistan is the most climate change-affected country.
