KABUL: The Ministry of Finance has announced that 184 low-quality oil tankers were returned from the country’s customs in the past one month.
According to the ministry, the rejected materials included eight petrol tankers from the Hairatan customs, 115 diesel tankers and four petrol tankers from Nimroz customs, 55 diesel tankers from Farah customs, and one diesel tanker and one gas tanker from Torghundi customs.
The Ministry emphasized that its Directorate of Quality and Oversight of Petroleum Products ensures the import of quality fuel based on established standards and strictly prevents the importation of low-quality fuel.
