KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs and his accompanying delegation left for China to attend the 9th China-South Asia Expo, Arg said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the delegation includes Nooruddin Azizi, acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Finance and Administration.
Hanafi will deliver a speech at the 9th China-South Asia Expo and hold meetings with senior officials of the People’s Republic of China to discuss strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors, the statement added.
China is a member of the United Nations Security Council and maintains close political, economic, and trade relations with the Afghan government.
