IEA delegation meets Afghan traders in Russia

KABUL: Mawlavi Ataullah Omari, the acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, and his accompanying delegation held a meeting with Afghan traders residing in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock said in a statement today that Minister Omari urged Afghan traders to take advantage of the current opportunities in the country and invest within Afghanistan.

The statement also noted that Omari addressed the challenges faced by Afghan traders in Russia.

This meeting is part of the efforts by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to strengthen economic relations and attract investments in Afghanistan.

Notably, just two days ago, a delegation led by Mawlavi Ataullah Omari traveled to Russia to participate in the International Economic Conference 2025 held in St. Petersburg.
