KABUL: Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, has stated that Russia is currently awaiting the appointment of an ambassador from the Islamic Emirate.
In an interview with Sputnik News Agency, she mentioned that a decision regarding the official recognition of the Islamic Emirate will be made by the Russian leadership at an appropriate time.
Zakharova’s remarks come as relations between the Islamic Emirate and Russia continue to develop based on communication and mutual understanding.
The appointment of an ambassador would represent another significant step in these relations.
