9 development projects inaugurated in Khost

KABUL: The construction of nine development projects costing 16 million Afghanis has been completed and inaugurated in Khost province.
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in a statement told Radio Omid today, that the projects include the construction of irrigation canals, embankments, water reservoirs, and retaining walls and have been implemented in the Shah Wali Kot district of Khost province.
The statement did not specify the funding source for these projects.
With the completion of the development projects, environmental issues faced by residents of the district have been addressed and job opportunities have been created for some residents of Shah Wali Kot.
