KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has expressed condolences to the families of the victims of a recent traffic accident in Herat province.
In a statement released on Wednesday night, the ministry conveyed the UAE’s condolences to the survivors of the accident and expressed solidarity with the people of Afghanistan.
The devastating traffic accident in Herat, which left approximately 80 people dead, has drawn responses from both domestic and international communities.
The Iranian embassy in Kabul also issued a statement expressing its sorrow and condolences regarding this heartbreaking incident.
It is noteworthy that the victims of this traffic accident were all men, women, and children who were forcibly expelled from Iran and returned to Afghanistan.
