KABUL: A high-ranking Afghan delegation, led by Minister of Mines and Petroleum Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, attended the “Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industry” forum in Tatarstan at the official invitation of the Tatar government.
The Ministry said that during the forum, Minister Badri discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, Afghanistan’s oil and gas reserves, and the transfer of technology from Tatarstan. He also invited investors to consider opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources.
In a meeting with the President of Tatarstan, Badri shared his proposals and ideas, leading to the decision to establish a joint technical committee to enhance cooperation.
Tatarstan officials also pledged to support Afghan students with scholarships and in capacity-building initiatives.
Additionally, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri met with officials from the “Tatneft” state company, where both sides committed to further collaboration in relevant sectors.
