KABUL: Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), the country’s main power supply company, has announced that Kabul will host the largest conference in the electricity sector shortly.
The two-day conference, titled “Regional Support Day in the Electricity Sector,” will take place today in Kabul.
According to DABS, the conference will focus on ways to attract investment in Afghanistan’s electricity sector.
Energy sector experts are expected to explore investment opportunities and strategies for securing them over the two-day event.
Afghanistan is currently considered to be rich in various energy resources, including wind, solar, hydro, and thermal energy for electricity production.
