KABUL: In a ceremony attended by local and central officials of the Islamic Emirate, the Bam-e-Asia hotel was inaugurated with an investment of 98,983,000 Afghanis in the center of Bamyan province, on Thursday.
The hotel has been constructed by the Bamyan Municipality over five stories, featuring modern amenities, green spaces, and complete hospitality equipment.
Mawlavi Abdullah Sarhadi, the governor of Bamyan, stated that the opening of this hotel is an effective step towards improving the quality of life, providing standard services to citizens and tourists, and strengthening economic and tourism infrastructure in the province.
Meanwhile, Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, the general director of municipal affairs, described the construction of this hotel as a clear example of practical and effective steps towards urban infrastructure development in Bamyan.
Bamyan is known for its rich tourist attractions, including Band-e Amir, recognized as one of the wonders of the world.
The province hosts thousands of domestic and foreign tourists each year.
Over the past four years, significant efforts have been made to enhance facilities for the tourism industry in the country.
