KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MoRRD) said in separate statements late on Sunday that foodstuffs were distributed to nearly 3,000 thousand families in three provinces.
According to the statements, humanitarian aids has been distributed to 1,533 families in Farah, 2,489 families in Maidan Wardak and 3,048 families in Helmand provinces.
The aids were provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and distributed to destitute families in collaboration with the provincial directorates of the ministry.
Two days ago, the ministry also announced the distribution of humanitarian aid to over 30,000 families in nearly 10 provinces of the country.
