Four-member professional thieves network arrested in Helmand

KABUL: The police personnel of Helmand province successfully apprehended a four-member network of professional thieves in an operation conducted in the region.
According to a statement from the press office of the Helmand Police Command on Wednesday evening, this group had stolen two million Pakistani rupees and 150,000 Afghanis from the Lakari market in the Garmsir district.
Also, another notorious thief who had stolen 58,000 Afghanis from the third Police District of Lashkar Gah city, detained by the police forces on the outskirts of the province.
The stolen money was cleverly placed in a vehicle and has been recovered.
The arrested individuals are currently under police investigation, and their case will soon be forwarded to judicial authorities.
Efforts are underway by the police forces to dismantle criminal networks, particularly professional thieves across the country.
