KABUL: Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Cenk Unal, the Turkish Chargé d’Affaires and political advisor, in Kabul to mark the end of his mission.
According to the head of the Press and Public Relations Department, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the discussion focused on the development of political and economic relations between the two countries, bilateral issues, and regional matters.
The Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for Turkey’s efforts in hosting talks between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Cenk Unal, whose mission in Afghanistan is concluding, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation he received from the officials of the Islamic Emirate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stating that he had successfully fulfilled his mission to strengthen the relationship between the two nations.
Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi praised Unal’s services and wished him success in his future endeavors, hoping for closer ties between Afghanistan and Turkey.
