FAIZABAD: The police personnel of the Badakhshan Police Command have detained two people with a shipment of 222 kilograms of hashish from the province.
According to the Badakhshan Police Command’s media office, the police uncovered this significant drug shipment in the Madaba area of Keshem district.
The report indicates that two individuals from Baghlan and Badakhshan provinces, who attempted to transport this quantity of narcotics, have also been arrested.
The statement noted that the detainees had cleverly concealed the drugs in a cargo vehicle, making it appear as though they were transporting livestock.
The ultimate destination of this drug shipment remains unclear.
