Over 100 Afghan nationals released from Pakistani Prisons

KABUL: As a result of efforts by the Afghan Consulate General in Karachi, Pakistan, 105 Afghan migrants, including women and children, were freed on Sunday night from an Afghan migrant detention center in the country and returned to Afghanistan.
According to the source, among those released were two women and ten children, each of these individuals had been held for a month by Pakistani police at the Afghan migrant detention center.
The source stated that the Afghan citizens had been imprisoned for the past month due to security issues along the routes in Sindh and Balochistan.
The Afghan Consulate General in Karachi confirmed that the recently released citizens returned to their country through the Spin Boldak border crossing.
Last week, over 200 Afghan migrant citizens also entered Afghanistan after being released from Pakistani prisons.
